The Queers, one of the best, and longest running American Punk bands, formed in 1981 and are still active today. While some Punk bands use their music to impart a social or political message, The Queers exist simply to play Punk Rock for the fun of it. The band has been delivering fast, loud, snotty music since inception. Their tunes are recognizable for their no-frills, pogo punk and lyrics that flaunt bad taste at every turn.

They first locked down their trademark style with 1993’s “Love Songs For The Retarded”, they hit peak velocity on 1996’s “Don’t Back Down”, and the momentum continued with 2021’s all cover set “Reverberation”. In the beginning, the band ambled its way through the 80’s, recording a few singles and comp tracks along the way, most of which were collected on “A Day Late And A Dollar Short”. Their first LP “Grow Up” has become a collector’s item throughout the Punk community.
